This was the most recent Bose QCXX thread I could find..so here goes.

DWI Is offering he QC15's for $319 which includes delivery. DWI have mixed reviews over the web, however i've made two purchases off them and not had problems yet.

I prefer QC15. Close to purchasing them yesterday at DJs for $399 but held off.

The real test is whether the noise cancelling is any better than the QC15 or QC20s, or whether this is just a design upgrade. I have the QC15s and just bought the QC20s - both very similar to me noise-cancelling wise but the ability to sleep on the side with the in-ear ones means I'll be sticking with the QC20s. That and the fact that I no longer need to carry the large headphones in my carry-on.

One thing I will miss though - the ability to block out crying babies with ear-plugs plus QC15s which neither the QC15s or QC20s alone could do!

I carry both the QC15 & the QC20 in my travels nowadays.
Much prefer the QC15s as the sound is better, though the trade off is the larger size. I still get sore ears from wearing the QC20s for long periods of time in flight though & also this is my second pair as the first ones got damaged.

Curiously - as I don't have any upcoming flight to test this - have you tried wearing the QC20s inside the QC15s? I wonder if it results in even better noise cancellation?

I do the same, I think the 15's have a much richer bass. The QC20's fit neatly inside the 15's case and I use them for sleeping.

Agree. I use the QC20s now and +1 has inherited the QC15s. The sound quality, I think, is slightly better with the the QC15s tho.

I used to use ear plugs under the QC15s but now I find the QC20s do a better job, and you can sleep in them as suggested by Princess Fiona.

Annoying that we have to pay 25% more for them in Oz vs USA.

Following the trend. I had the QC3, upgraded to the QC20 because of the squeal you get if you sleep on the QC3.

The QC20s are really comfortable and amazing!

MRS has the QC15.

DAVID JONES has the QC20i for $224 RRP $399AU but is you register a bank issued AMEX you can get them for $194($30 AMEX credit) online and instore....fine with Android and yes I just got family member a xmas present!
Oh and if you buy online via the Qantas website you get 2240 QFF points on your account...get in quick as they are running out of stock I believe...website at my local store says IN STOCK!

Edit: Absolute Fail by David Jones online service!Local store on the website said "IN STOCK" last night.
Ordered.
Received confirmation email order went through.
Rang store this morning to pickup and told OUT of stock….refunding.
Spoke to online service….Dick Smith nothing we can do….
Is this 1990 or 2014 how can their Online store computers not register an Out of Stock item?
