So, as some of you may know, I won the transfers and lunch from the BR lunch, but obviously being based in Auckland, I had no need for them on on that weekend, However, BR suggested I used them on my next trip, which I have just done. We had an early morning departure with four of us with four checked bags, and we were picked up in a Viano van. I had fairly low expectations for the van, and was blown away. There was plenty of space, and it was nothing like a normal van. On my return flight, it was just me, and I was picked up in BMW 7 series, which was also nice, and I had to be careful not to fall asleep in it, although I'm sure I could have if I wanted to.

For those of you interested, the company was NZ Transfers, and I believe it is around $100 - $140 NZD for an airport transfer, depending on the vehicle, but it may be cheaper, I was told $120 for the 7 Series.

Glad you enjoyed them mr_osborne.

I can recommend this company very confidently.

I have an account, so it just makes it easy for me. I always get the Black 7 Series and 95% of the time it is Tim, the owner who looks after me.

Once again, Thanks for the feedback mr_osborne.

Oh.......

Last Monday I was fortunate enough to be invited to Euro as a guest of Simon and Katrina Gault. I had an awesome lunch and the pics are on my twitter.

Here is one of us all enjoying a beautiful sunny Auckland winter day.

I am very pleased that benmay and myself have been invited to a private chef's table dinner next time we happen to be in AKL.

I can't wait.

EURO.jpgWhere was everyone on Saturday? I thought we arranged to have lunch at Euro every 3rd Saturday?

Yum, and quite cheap :)

I shall have to drop by next time I am in AKL.

I'll be back mid August. Should another luncheon be arranged?

Perhaps a new thread?

bossreggie's SYD lunch is on the 12th (I think?)... Are you going to that?

I have to have a DISCUSSION with GPH. He seems to think it's not possible to do Sydney and Auckland in the same week

It is fair to say..... Myself and benmay were rather hoping GPH and ALH were able to make the lunch!!

I think we need to text!!

It would be good to catch up with all of you again soon :)

OK. Send me the details and we'll be there (or maybe just me, if GPH is going to be difficult!). I think we need to text. This is turning into a pervy version of RSVP

The location should give it away... Otherwise I recall we did meet in a Hilton foyer, I was next to boss at coffee

Although I'm something of a phantom on here :p

Gotcha. I think we need to arrange a lunch in Little India

Ahh, the oyster special turned me off, sorry. Not keen on most seafood. Don't mind fish, but rarely touch stuff like oysters. Most others like that when dining with me (& Mr Katie) as that means more for them!! :)

Must say I agree.
