AFAIK there isnt a generic boarding pass android app, but Google Wallet and Samsung Pay can store BPs, concert tickets etc.
If the airline app allows BPs to be saved then all you need is google wallet i.e. on JetStar after check in you can save a copy of the BP to Google Wallet.
If the airline app i.e. Qantas doesnt allow the BP to be downloaded from the app, then you can always check in using the website and then go to print boarding pass, but instead of printing to paper print to PDF, then save pdf to your phone (or email to yourself and download from there).
Of course a screen shot helps, simple swipe of the hand across the screen.
Given QF have taken away ability to self print a boarding pass at the airport kiosks it is truly unforgiveable they have yet to enable Android (the most commonly used mobile platform in the world) to save boarding pass to the google wallet, when they do provide the equivalent on their iphone app (of course nothing is worth the sheer pain of using an iphone). Its not like they dont know how to do it, Jetstar app has had capability for years.
