There I go again. Thinging one think and typing another  .
I do it all the time when I have had a few too many.
I don't need any assistance :P . I can make mistakes all on my own, without any help from certain substances.
OK. Stop bragging. Some of us are naturally better than others.

I need performance enhancing substances to assist me.

Waaay TMI
You got the wrong impression.

In the spirit of the last few posts I was referring to alcohol, as performance enhancing substance, to allow me to make a goose of myself, ie. thinging one think and typing another on aff.

PAUL Little's growth strategy for Toll Holdings is in disarray after the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission shocked the markets by banning Toll's $4.6 billion takeover of Patrick.

It doesn't look like Sir Richard will be getting Virgin back so easily now. The full article is here: http://www.theage.com.au/news/busin...bid-for-patrick/2006/01/18/1137553653208.html

Well I hope he still has a crack at it with whoever else he can round up, because I don't see that Patrick/Corrigan views DJ as anything other than a cash cow.

I agree with you there, Patrick/Corrigan couldn't care less how the airline evolves as long as they make money.

Branson may well be the lynch pin that DJ needs to take them to the next level as an airline.

Well from an article in today's Australian, it looks like Toll are going to have another go at it.

I'm willing to bet that Qantas prefer Patrick as the owner rather than Sir Richard Branson. 8) 8)

Can't imagine anyone would treat an airline like that. Imagine, stripping an airline of its cash and assets. Could never happen.
