I have had my eye off the award availability for a while so not as familiar with it as I was. But now I find myself chasing 4 business seats to LAX around early April of next year. Availability is currently opening at about April 26 for award seat bookings.
Despite watching it quite closely this last couple of weeks I have seen very little release of J seats each day. If I go back in dates there is a sprinkle of 2 seat availability. But if I go about one month back ( mid to late March) from the 330?( i think that is the day count) day I do find 4 seat availability on the mid week flights. Can anyone tell me what the pattern usually is here? Can I expect that more seats may come on line? I have picked up two J seats around the date I was looking early April. Can I expect that two more might turn up on that date or an adjacent date ?
