Good evening everyone. It’s 11.46 pm in Brisbane and I have just returned from the PA hospital.
Mrs GPH and I are a late scratching for this event.
At about 7.00pm this evening Mrs GPH was involved in a head on collision near our home.
The good news (so far) is that she seems to be relatively ok.
The bad news is that she will be staying in for at least 2-3 days. So attendance at the dinner (which we were both looking forward to) is now not an option.
I shall keep you all appraised of her progress.

I hope MrsG is ok and has a speedy recovery. You take care too, even if you weren't involved in the collision, it must have been a shock for you as well.

The latest is that she is in recovery after surgery at 08.00 this morning. Small knee op so waiting to find out when she hits the ward. Thanks for your messages , I’m sure she will eventually speak to you all herself.

Hi everyone. I am with ALH now. She has a compound fracture of the left knee. So no mountain climbing for a wee while!
I may be able to put in a brief appearance, but not stay long.o

Update edit. I definitely won’t make it in. ALH has been well
Behaved and has been granted early release.
So around 2.00 pm today she will be sent home.
Enjoy the evening , I’m sorry we missed it all.
