I'm feeling pretty despondent now ........in the end I had to leave work early regardless, to pick up a sick kid from school. I wanna go out and socialise :shock:.

I'm also a scratching from drinks @ The Lounge, as I had to visit school as well for my daughter (thankfully not sick, rather our interview with the Headmaster for her Prep year access - merely a formality). But it's taken 2 hours out of my day that I didn't need.

I had a call from one of the clan asking if I was attending dinner. I presume they were on the 8pm airtrain, arriving at Southbank around 8:30.

(The call was at 8:50 ... so perhaps Taxis were used instead?)
