Like a lot of AFF events, as you get closer to the event a few more people will confirm or unconfirm.

There is still a chance that I might not turn up because of work, and that is one reason most of us don't confirm until the last few days.

John and I have a pretty good idea who will turn up so we don't really worry about the numbers.

I remember our first few AFF drinks nights where we had 4 of us, which in a way was a little small but it has grown since then, to usually to average around 10.

I am still a tentative as I will have got pretty drunk the night before at a sushi class.

From memory the first Brisbane AFF drinks night had 2 people, then we had 3 people, then 4 people and has grown to over 10 people since then.

I also believe that on Flyertalk our regular drinks night would be regarded as quite successful.

After missing the last 2 drinks nights because i have been away from Brisbane for work, i should be able to make this one. Doesn't look like you guys have missed me though?

We missed you! There are quite a few that have missed the last few drinks nights....

Put me down as a GOLD at this stage. Hoping a meeting in BNE will schedule for Wednesday instead of the (becoming) usual Friday. Still, Fridays are good as I get to sometimes catch up with JK at the BNE J

Would be good if you can make drinks but I am also due to be flying back to SYD on the 29th anyway. I hope no repeats of the last time we met at the BNE J Lounge!

Myself & SO should be there - just trying to action a shift swap for Wed to an early.

My PA aka Bundy Bear usually reminds me of my social engagements a day or so before the event. ;)

still promising for me - awaiting the results of my rushed trip to TSV today and the knock on effect for next week in ADL before my planned WED ADL/BNE transit...

fingers crossed

Put me down as a possible/interested. Have to check what my Social Director has planned for her busy schedule that night. Might be able to stay until 6pm.

Yes, that's why I can only stay until 6pm - maybe 6.15pm at a pinch (as I need to get home to take over looking after the kids - get them bathed and in bed).

I might pop-in for a drink or something.
But I need some willing volunteers for iphone testing.
:D
