Not sure what time I'll be free yet. I'm hoping to have a meeting in the CBD that evening until probably 6pm at the latest, but it's not confirmed yet.
I'll post on here when I've got specifics, but at this stage we can pencil in 6:30-7:00pm for dinner/drinks.

It will be our third catch up in as many weeks. If ppl don't live or work in the city, it can be a pain to get to in the evening. Also couple of ppl will be away too.

I on the other hand live in the city, so can do whatever.

Bit late, but a weekend in Brisbane and I'd suggest a surfing safari. Given that I get into Sydney every morning and end up soaking wet with sweat, I won't even need the light jumper.

I might be able to join in Wednesday night now. But my brother might be in town from Europe and well we have something to do on Wednesday day. Plus the 0630 flight the next morning. :shock:

Both good suggestions, but alas I've confirmed that I'll be working every day that I'm in Brisbane, including the Saturday and the Sunday. I'll only have time for leisure after work so things that can be done after dark and that are in the Brisbane, or at a stretch the greater SEQ area are my limitations. :-|

One should never let an early start keep them from enjoying the evening before! Plus, travellers have the luxury of being able to have some downtime while travelling, which is great for power-napping.

However, it is looking more unlikely. I've just confirmed a catch up with my boss on thursday morning. More importantly, my brother has booked flights back from Europe for the week and it looks like wednesday is our only overlap. He hasn't paid yet but only 24 hours until departure.

I could do an IM's but not a Mill. We could slum it at Vapiano's I guess - or if we wanted to do something nice we could hit a real restaurant.
Depends on what ppl want to pay I guess. Personally I have to save $3k in 3 pay runs to pay for my liveaboard. Should be doable, just won't be using real money much - only my salary packaging cards where I can.
Suggestions oh attendees? We could always hit China Town... though as I am the only one with a CityCycle subscription I would prolly be the only one to get there on time and not have to worry about buses or parking.

Didn't realise BNE had one, but as the MEL one rules for Australia, and I'm not actually big on Chinese food, I wouldn't be keen, plus I too am doing some saving.
