Brisbane Premium Lounge Entry

Not so sure. The building works are affecting all parts of the terminal at one time or another. It might save you some time, or it might be a case of "out of the frying pan..."

Might be too late for you but I went thru last week in a peak time thru the premium security lane and was only 5 in the line. Dont try any of the short cuts to the lounge just go in the main entrance. took all of 5 mins from start to the lounge

Wow! You should buy a lottery ticket 😉

I'm in the lounge now, same timing.

I think it would be silly to walk the full length of the terminal from qantas (unless you're trying to get up your app daily steps)

Can confirm this was exactly the case. Disaster zone up the QF end too. Made the mistake of walking there first instead of checking. VA end was a short premium line and we were through in less than 5 minutes.

It really depends on the day, I fly weekly and sometimes Premium queue takes longer (if more than 10 in line) than standard queue and other times no one is in the premium queue. I am flying tonight also assuming weather permits

Whilst YMMV, my recent experience with the Premium queue at VA has been excellent. Rarely more than 7 or 8 in it, which MAY be because the Premium sign is stashed to the wall side and the "Assistance" sign is much more prominent. 😎
Unfortunately the Premium Lounge entry has been shut outside of its usual morning peak, which means a shuffle upstairs and then in via the regular entrance.

Made it only 2.5 hours late on QF 😡

Has anyone done this since Christmas? Is it still the same?
I'm travelling HLO this week, is it best to stay outside of the terminal or go in?
Many thanks

I went through again last Friday morning ~10.00am. Walked down the premium entry was about 2 people in front at the security/scanners, remember to remove any laptops, belts and jackets etc. The whole thing took 4 or 5 minutes to get through and into the lounge. This was the last week of xmas holidays so there were no suits around and the lounge was virtually empty. This week may be different

With the works ongoing at BNE, you have to go outside the terminal to get through security. The Premium Entry is now after security and you walk back past it and then up the escalators that were previously the "down" escalators outside Gate 41. Premium Entry hasn't been open any time that we've been through in the past few months (just outside of hours) however there is an express line for security that you can use.
