Hi fellow Krisflyers,
Been reading through the forums and have been getting lots of info. Thank you very much. However i got a few questions and hope you guys might be able to help out. I would really appreciate it.
Me and wife are thinking of going on a honeymoon next year February 2018 and we are looking at flights. I want to surprise her by booking a business return trip. I been saving up points for these :( (lots of hard work and calculating)

Been browsing the singapore airline page. SQ 266 and SQ 246 both fly the Boeing 777 which i believe the business class is a lot better than the A330. my Q is that reading through the forums, some say only 1 of those flights have a full flat bed, but i cant find which flight that is, or does both flights operate the same type of aircraft.

My 2nd Q is a bit on the left field, i am thinking of booking the suite on the A380 from Singapore to sydeny for the return leg, cuz the A380 does not fly into Brisbane :( Do you frequent flyers think its worth it or should I save the points for later travel? Cuz i heard that the A380 is doing a reconfigure later this year and are decreasing the number of suites and eliminating the side by side suites.

Any comments or ideas are welcome. Just wanted to give my wife and honeymoon to remember. Thanks in advance

Cole, firstly congratulations on your upcoming honeymoon.

The 777 that Brisbane has are the old 777-200 that have been refurbished in J to have 1-2-1 seating as they were 2-2-2. I have been on the 777-300 with 1-2-1 seating and they are a great product but have not flown the refurbished 777-200 but reading other forums they have mixed reviews.

It really depends what time you want to fly. The 9.10am and 2.30pm flights are both the 330. I may be in the minority but I don't mind the SQ 330! I prefer to take the 9.10am flight as if travelling onward I enjoy the night in Singapore as a stopover. I have found J saver redemptions are easier on the 9.10am flight and sometimes I have had only 5 passengers in J. The 2.30pm flight by comparison is harder for J redemptions as it is popular with passengers flying on to Europe later that night.

Will leave it to others to comment on Suites redemptions.

Thanks Moffat, that has helped a lot, much appreciate it. Try to keep the wife happy thats all :)

From what I understand the BRI-SIN 777-200 are the refitted 1-2-1 -- J 2006 business seats
the 777-300 are either J 2006 or J 2013 (new) seats - flights with PE are 2013 seats, [ and to confuse you more some 777-300(WN) are new seats also and tend to be on certain routes more often. They are identical is seat mapping to 777-300 with the old seats so you cant tell until you board]

A380 - J seats are 2006.
Unless you are talking about F seats (suites) - suites are definitely a class above J but require many more points

Hi guys, thanks for the support, just booked the "J" seats for the honeymoon from brisbane to osaka for next year (18 Feb to Mar). will report back after to see what its like. Hopefully its a good experience as you guys have mentioned. Cheers
