Reading this thread made me realise that we don't do too badly in Australia for points from credit card earn compared to UK now that the exchange rate has reverted back to more normal levels. Earning 6-8 SQ/CX points per GBP at supermarkets+petrol, 3-4 SQ/CX per GBP from everyday spend & relatively straightforward ATO earn (for now) would be quite appealing in the UK.
