Time to pack up and get airborne again.



A TripleJ boat also heading home as the sun dips and we’re soon back at base.


That was an excellent way to finish a great short break and we had near-perfect windless conditions. In some ways for me it was the highlight as I’ve previously done the TripleJ tour and flown over the Bungle Bungle in a fixed wing and a helo before, as well as driving in.

The sundowner floatplane excursion, like everything else, is highly recommended.

Next morning it was out to KNX for the ride back to PER, this time in an all-whY TL E170.



And with that, we leave the Kimberley!

It was a little funny when I told PJM back in January that I’d booked for us to go to Kununurra and she asked, “What’s at Kununurra?” I just responded with “It’s an interesting place”. Understatement… hyuk, hyuk! Keeping schtum on the activities made for good surprises. We had a blast!
