Just be aware that it is a EUR200 fee plus any change in fare, but yes ex EU fares are remarkably good value - I am a veteran of 20+ over the last four years.
Interesting Tony. There I was thinking you'd carked in Sydney so many years ago (which would have been a dreadful place to pull the plug).

I've just been listening to all your radio programmes Tony, (some of which I remember from the '50s when I was extraordinarily young) and watching all the extant television programmes - which inexplicably don't feature Wagga's Bill Kerr. Sacred blue, as the fops say.

May I ask your strategy?

I took a one way to the UK, nesting in Asia way back in 2014 and then have booked a series of returns with BA starting in Norway.

I am fortunate enough to know my schedule months in advance. The BA FF program works really well if you suffer flights on BA metal, the Gold Upgrade Vouchers mean I can book J and immediately upgrade to F and all for the price of Premium Economy.

If you travel to Europe a fair bit, can plan well in advance and are prepared to take the trouble to get up to Norway it is not a bd way to travel in premium cabins. QR pricing is also pretty good too and their J product is very very good.

PS I'll tell Ms Pugh you are a fan! :D
