Yeah approx 25min waiting to check in. Still will have to clear security etc
Traveling on SQ J out of Melbourne I’ve never taken more than 15 mins to checkin, clear security and walk to the lounge. You should get express path printed on your BP (if there is even a queue at that time for security ). But I do tend to avoid the check in open times (because that can see the longest queues).

Also the SQ lounges aren’t that wonderful - 2.5 hrs seems an awful long time even if you do manage to get into to the F lounge, especially IiRC you will be going to the Private Room in SIN - which will be much better.

But we’re all different - do what works for you. :)

That’s great advice! Yes love the private room in SIN. I’ll be leaving around 1.30-1.45AM and not much to do at home if everyone is sleeping, so I might as well do the same thing in a lounge.

Leaving for airport in 15.5h. Wife decided this weekend would be perfect to try potting training. I terminated that idea mid day Saturday she’s back in nappies while I’m away. Can’t deal with those sort of text messages haunting me in my night time

Sorry only just seen this.

Flying out tomorrow morning.

Will be:
- Singapore Airlines J Lounge Melbourne
- Singapore Airlines F Lounge Singapore
- Emirates F Lounge Dubai
The question is whether or not you get the F lounge in MEL!

J class lounge is a given, F lounge should be available on a through F fare. The main question is whether the upgrade on one leg flows through to the rest of the ticket.

No one can give me an answer. I will show them my F boarding pass. What about getting dressed into my F PJ’s from my last trip?

So boys, they said no. But no one was there when I walked in so I went into first class, made sure to use the first class toilet too. Very average first class lounge, they had Nu bottles of water which I already have in my carry on from Costco bulkbuy. Sitting in business class lounge also very average, there is only two people in here so far.

Some 2 minute noodles if you’re feeling homesick from being a uni student.

I took some Melbourne first class lounge photos before I got kicked out. ā€œCan I see your boarding pass please. 21A, this way sirā€ šŸ˜‚
