Is it just me or was there a business fare increase across the board over night? Was there a business sale on I didn't notice?

Oh well, makes half point upgrades all the more inviting :)

Seems to be a small increase yes of $20-$50 for east coast flights

Virgin are kidding themselves as loads on MEL-SYD-MEL and MEL-CBR-MEL on all flights I have been on are very low!

Yes, this is in regards to Virgin Australia.

Hmm I was looking at BNE-MEL and return yesterday. Pricing was $599 each way. Now it's $850.

I assume the dates for those VA fares were pretty soonish? But I agree at those prices the J class bookings call centre would be listening to the sounds of *crickets chirping*

Out of interest - did you look at similar date QF J class fares?

I have noticed that the PER - MEL's have come up to $1300 or so again.

If we are talking MEL_PER flights I assume thats $1300 each way on VA J? Not really surprising as I had a look at QF around early Oct and everything MEL-PER is $1500-$2700 in J class one way!
