I have commented here previously that of course ostensibly there is no retail price maintenance on apple products.
However, as I now need to update an iPad mini 7th generation with A17 chip, 128Gb and cellular the fierce competition amounts to about $2.00.
A number of contributors said that of course there is always a special to be found but I cannot find one.
Can any wise buyers suggest a retailer in Melbourne. TIA

I usually go Apple Store online (free delivery) or to a local Apple Store e.g. Chadstone, Doncaster...

I'll send you a DM too.

Update: For those interested Appleforums.au is the successor to the Mactalk and AppleTalk forums, both of which have shut down.

Try Costco - don’t know about iPads but currently huge discount on iPhone 16 1TB - well during this week there was

Find a cheap price go to Officeworks and do a 5% price beat and pay with 10% off GCs - life is not a picnic sometimes you gotta work for the spoils

And have a one pass subscribe linked to your Fly Buys card and get 15x points at Office Works. I bought my iPhone 16 there and they were the equal lowest price.

NRMA has 4% discount on Apple eVouchers as a standing deal. They also have 4% of Woolies gift vouchers, which could be a double dip option?

I'm about to get one to make up the difference to buy some new AirPod Pros. The bulk is coming from $230 worth of Latitude Rewards that can be used for Apple eVouchers. Unless Woolies does a promo soon on bonus points on Apple gift cards...(Latitude rewards can be converted to Woolies gift voucher also).

Where are you getting 20%? That's substantial discount in the context of Apple discounts!

I need to have a current device as a backup to my aviation navigational software on the normal size iPad. The mini sits in the flight bag as a reserve but has to be large enough to be easily read in flight. the iPhone just doesn't do it. A lot of money that is never used but still necessary.

Sorry - alcohol induced typo (now fixed) at 5pm on a lazy Saturday - I am sure a few others here will understand?
I’m still curious where there are 10% discounts?

PS
I don’t even need booze, my iPad just decides to do auto-uncorrect when it feels like it….🤷‍♂️
