New to Hilton. Currently travelling in Europe is it worth paying $800 USD for 160000 points. With IHG I would sorry to post but just need some advice - if I were home Inwould do the research.
THanks in advance

No current plans on using them, I did a Hilton status match got 4 nights in Hiltons booked over next couple of weeks, just wondering if purchasing points with Hilton is a good deal. I do it with of every year and it's good eg 120000 points for 686 AUD at 50000 points a night at IC Park Lane 500 AUD a night I got roughly 2.5 nights for 686. That's a good deal is Hilton similar sitting in AMS just wondering if j should buy or not?

It's a good deal if your plan on staying at Hilton Hotels that are in the upper price range. I bought 40,000 for upcoming trip to Toronto over Xmas.

The answer is "it depends".

Some hotels that are expensive but their category doesn't reflect that, then yes, good deal.

Some hotels are cheap but their category is still even lower, another good deal.

Most hotels in the chain are priced appropriately for their reward category and it's not a great deal.

I would have some stays in mind and have a look at the points cost first.

Hi, could be a good deal, depends on how you would normally otherwise obtain your HH points , i just posted a new thread on the Hilton page, you may care to read it as it may be worth you checking out what i was mentioning for your particular dates.
Where is the deal for the 160,000 points?
