If you take the risk, be prepared to pay the price if something goes wrong.

Maybe look at how you run your business ?

Oh and I wouldn't be letting you take down my credit card details on a manual form, I would go elsewhere or come back another time or pay via cash

I read your little quotes, it is one complaint about something that happens involving credit cards all around the world, in many different situations besides the taxi industry. Ohh and some urban myths about taxi drivers ringing india, it happened to a friend - yeah right.

What you are saying is that when I lived in Sydney that I should have been do drive offs from the service stations becasue it was reported in the Telegraph (or some such quality publication) that some console operators were caught skimming credit cards.

Rip them off just in case they are planning to rip me off. I really fell sorry for you.

But at the end of the day, by your own admission, your the criminal and the taxi driver did not commit any fraud. That is the issue.

I'm surprised that you didn't pick up the taxi driver sexual assault angle. But I was jsut using your gold standard for evidence - internet rumour

No I didn't resort to deception and I was never offer payment by other means. They always paid first and then made a proposition that was completely unrelated to any payment.

But the thing is I maintain some moral standards, so I had to turn them down because of my committment to my partner. :-|
