Sue and I will be arriving on Friday afternoon and will be around until Tuesday morning if anyone is there and would like to catch up for drinks and/or dinner.

Be aware that the lounge opens for drinks at 5:00pm and they go until 8:00pm. We are probably going to Kuranda for the day but will certainly be back for drinks.

It's all happening in Cairns by the sounds of it, travelled to Singapore with an SPG insider on Saturday who thinks they will get at least two of the 9 hotels under the SPG branding if the new Casino goes ahead!

Between Friday and Saturday night doing high school reunion things, it was a hell weekend for me. I'm still pretty shattered. Did full skybed mode on QF8 BNE-syd this morning.

Sorry we missed you last night. We came into the lounge and bumped into an old friend. I think I worked out who you were but by the time I got organised to go and say hello you had disappeared. Another time then.

No problem, I was sitting by the glass wall just inside the door, I was there with a work mate from about 5 till 6.30 when we went to get dinner before an early night, before the 4.30 am check out.
Maybe next time.

Unfortunately this trip was not a wonderful event for us. We went to inspect our house and see what needed to be done to it prior to reletting and the answer is a lot needs to be done. If anyone wants to buy or rent an executive type house in Cairns in a sort after location (Brinsmead) then please give me a yell. It will have just had about $15,000 spent on it and will be in pristine condition.

We have three options which are to re-rent, sell or move in for a while. Unfortunately I suspect though that the answer will be sell up and walk away.

CaviAck,we didn't get to meet up in the end but we were a 'little' busy and the emotions were running rather high. (next time which may only be a couple of weeks away)

I would love to make an offer, but I think the commute would be a PITA.
