If I want to book HKG-DOH-CPH, I see that Nth Asia to Europe is 80k miles return. Does it matter that this goes via the Middle East in terms of points cost?

Also on the return, I'm looking at HEL-BKK-HKG. Since BKK is considered in South & Central Asia, does that increase the cost? If not I can see availability on HEL-ICN-HKG. But just want to check before calling.

you will only be charged for a higher zone if you stopover (more than 24 hours) in the higher zone.
