I get the Fligth Centre Rewards Pass advert on some pages, but that's the only banner ad I recall seeing for a while
 
No flickering, if you mouseover the ads your pointer should turn into a 'phone.

Only issue I have is a general one with 'flash ads; they can be so CPU resource hungry that if I ever have to set an ad's quality to 'poor' (right click ad, Q, L) so I may continue browsing at a reasonable speed it becomes amost certain that I will NEVER use the product.
