Caltex Starcard - 10 000 points to sign up

I'm still waiting for credit check to complete, it's been 12 days so far. I suspect they are a little overwhelmed?

I haven't either and given I already have the card am wondering if they will actually do one.

Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase fuel gift cards (or other gift cards sold) in store using the starcard??? Just a thought as an option if fuel spend falls short of the $150 monthly requirement.

card approved on the 22/1 and Qantas Business linked a couple of days later. 1st purchase on the 29/01 and first bill due on the 14/02.

None of the above my reading of the T&Cs is that it is the monthly anniversary of your linking the account to your QBR account, ie before the 22nd + a couple of days

Does anyone know how the 5 consecutive months is calculated. Eg if I signed up and linked the account on the 22nd of January would I have to spend $150 by the end of January or do I have a full month from the date of signing up? The T&C’s aren’t clear on this.

Hi all - I received my card on Monday (18th Feb) & pretty sure I linked it to QBR that day.

So to confirm - I have a month from 18th Feb to make my first $150 spend & ensure 10,000pts.

I have received my first statement ending in 31 JAN due date 14 FEB , is everyone received the same ?

Have not rcvd as yet but yes Statement period is calendar month.

Have just received my card and linked it to Qantas Business Rewards.

I rang the Caltex Customer Service line today (22/2/19). I was informed that as I have only just received my card, there is no need to spend $150 in the few days left in February. The $150 monthly spend requirement will begin in March.

So, my understanding is that the spend requirement is based on the calendar month.

Edit: A credit check was done on the day of application

Is there anything that I could buy from caltex besides fuel that qualifies for this 50k qantas points promotions? Or is fuel the only way to be able to earn 50k points.

It would seem general food and beverages are the only real points earning purchase alternatives to fuel

Does it start from when I my card got approved or when I receive the email "Success! Your StarCard and Qantas Business Rewards accounts are now linked."
