Can anyone remember when the OCT/NOV/DEC DSC offer is normally announced?

Turns out I might need to do two long haul international trips before the end of this year that I hadn't planned on. Can anyone remember when the Double Status Credits offers normally come out in the offer that normally happens towards the end of the year? I might even try to make Platinum - has been a few years since I last held that!

The last time they did a DSC promotion around this time of the year was back in 2018. All the subsequent DSCs have been either in February or March.

Ah so they didn't do one in 2019 which was before we all learned about viruses etc. - that's not a good sign!

cough - hadn't thought of that!! I might have to try to find something that has free cancellation refunds - although we all know that cancelling and getting a refund with QF is self-infliction of torture!

Alas given that we are now in late November I am thinking that it is pretty unlikely that QF will drop a DSC offer this side of Christmas.

I figured if no relevant "Black Friday" promos/sales, nothing much will drop before say, Boxing Day (of course will be pi***d if it does happen )

At least I was able to get "Business Sale" fares for my birthday holiday in June and will retain SG.

If you look at the trend of recent years nothing will drop before the usual late March, except for targeted DSCs, you are unlikely to see more than 1 public DSC per year. Whilst March isn't guaranteed it is the most likely.

I already have sufficient travel booked from the last March DSC to requalify (and then some). I need the March 24 DSC to get a jump start of retaining WP for 2025.
