Would like to stop over in SIN.

Cannot book ASA over the phone, can I book a stopover, or is that simply a multi-city ASA flight?

I guess this is similar to other threads asking about booking stopovers - the answer seems to be you have to do it over the phone, and copy the points fee, but it becomes more difficult if you're trying to book an ASA because you cannot do that over the phone.

Thanks

I too would like to know if one can book a JASA with stop over.

You should be able to do it using the multi-city booking facility within the award booking tool.

There can be a bit of a point cost to this. For example doing SYD-LHR without a stopover on a classic award is 64,000 points. With a stopover it becomes 72,000 points as the SYD-SIN and SIN-LHR parts are simply added together (30,000 + 72,000).

With a JASA, you would be bound by what the underlying term conditions allow - and for a classic that is to add the segments together when there is a stopover.

Thanks, that seemed to be what I was seeing as well with some dates I was playing with. It's just like booking two flights.
