Any updates on this topic? I just finished with St George QFF for the 80k bonus and got the bank of SA 80k deal without realising this issue until I registered for internet banking and the two were linked.

Sorry, my example is a little dated. I guess you will be able to let us know soon!

Yeah, I'll give it a go.
From reading above I've gone through all of the T&C's on the bank of SA site and I can't find anything on having another account within 12 months with St George or BOM. I also called sales and enquired about applying for the card but mentioned I had a St George CC recently and they said I wouldn't be able to get the bonus...

Let us know how you go. I was meaning to do what you did, this after recently getting back from my long leave. But looks like you beat me to it! :)

Just as a point of interest, try different links. When I applied there was one link that mentioned all the cards for exclusion and one that only mentioned BOM. Needles to say I used the latter and PDF'd the T&C's.

This is St George site though, I've got the Bank of SA CC and I can't see anything similar on the site....Could easily be missing it still though

it's in the same location as the St George site...

RTW, Have you got an update on this?
Update - Bank of SA have credited me the 80k points today, I had to wait another month until the next statement but the points arrived today. Note for anyone in this situation, I had a St George card active when I applied for the bank of SA card I then cancelled St George 1 month into having the bank of SA card and completed the minimum spend requirement and ended up getting points for both cards.

Nice work! Might have to think about applying for BoM. I'm currently holding the St George Amplify.

Almost time for my favourite eldest son to get one as he has returned from his long service leave and is back in Perth.
Amplify to Kris Miles are a winner.

Cheers for letting us know. Was going to go with the Comm bank 60velocity but would take 50K KFF any day :)

Forgot to ask, was that 80K Qantas FF, or 80K Amplify?
