I want to purchase some business class airfares for 2 people, but I do not have a high enough limit on my card to cover the purchase. Being retired they will not increase my limit.
These are good sale fares. I have contacted a couple of reputable TAs online but have not had a response so far. Happy to go with a TA and pay a commission for their time. Unless I go up to the local Flight centre and try them.

I don't want to purchase two separate tickets. I would like them on the same ticket.
Will Latitude allow it?

I think you might have to call them to ask your options.

Usually a payment takes 2-3 days to reach them. Accounts cannot be in ‘credit’ per the terms and conditions.

It might be that a good travel agent can still put everything onto the one booking, but charge you in two installements… a deposit, which you pay off, then the final amount.

But the call centre may advise your options.

@ellen10 if you contact that TA I gave you the info on, as an alternative solution, you should be able to pay your max via the Latitude card, and the rest by bank transfer. I do this all the time.

I’ve done it with plenty of cc’s but can’t recall if 28deg was one of them.

Pay extra money in and check the account regularly (couple of times per day). As soon as you see the $ in there, make the purchase. By the time they contact you about the overpayment you’ll have spent the funds…

TA should be fine to do it but you probably need to go in person. You’d pay half now, max out the card, load it up same day and the pay the same again.
