Hi all,

This might be a strange request, but I’m hoping someone may be able to help me out by purchasing a Qantas Joey Club Baby Bodysuit on an upcoming Qantas international flight?

My wife and I are expecting our first baby, and she thought it’d be a cute announcement to have us wear the Qantas pajamas holding the little bodysuit.

A recent flight that had an aircraft change meant the In Sky shopping was unavailable, my next international flight is at the end of January and have just found out the In Sky shopping will be discontinued after the 1st of Jan.

I had made contact with the people at In Sky shopping to see if I can purchase it directly from them, and they have quoted a price of $96, which I think is a little unreasonable.

So hoping someone here could get this for me, then I can send the money plus a post pack to them (or straight money to reimburse for the bodysuit and postage) before New Years.

Cheers

Hey there Dr Goz,

I was going to offer to assist but my only flight before years end is heading inbound to Australia - and after just checking the pre-order page, it has to be done at least two days prior to flying and is only available on flights LEAVING Australia. So sorry :)

In any case, I bought one of those this year and gave it to someone for their baby - it is cute but is rather simple. I would not exactly describe it as "high quality". Just letting you know...

Thanks for the offer, I don't think the plan was to use it in the future, just for one of many fancy baby announcement photo's she has planned.

All in all trying to keep a first trimester wife happy.

Now I have to say, the OP and +1 would have to be a front runner for the AFF Tragic 2017 award!

I was about to also offer, but just realised my Sunday flight is a QF Tix but on PX metal, so unable. All the best for the upcoming birth Dr_Goz, I hope it all goes exceptionally well and the little tike grows up loving aviation! Another John Travolta in the making??

That is so cute.
I need this to add to a glory box for anticipated grandchild.

Have sent an email as I don't have a flight prior to Dec 31st :(

Thanks for this OP

I am flying on Christmas Eve. QF to AKL. Happy to oblige if you’re not successful before then.

Just PM me

Love how it will make mum happy and all the offers to help the OP!

Fingers crossed for you and congrats on the baby.

Just cause I hope to be a grandma in the not too distant future (fortunately son not in this forum) I reached out to In-flight shopping and also Qantas both of whom have stated these will be available, at some point, via other retail avenues
Thanks for the cute information:)

I've often thought about how much unused duty free allowance there must be each day and how long it will be before an app is created where you can request duty free items (read liquor and cigarettes) be brought through for you for a small fee.

No doubt it would create all kinds of legal questions and issues, but I'm wondering nonetheless.

I did go contact Qantas, as above , however no one is answering or able to help 're baby gro suits.
I was wondering if anyone had seen them around lately
