Oh OK, I've tried glass in Sydney as well as The Palace in Port Melbourne shortly before he divested himself of it. Haven't been to a Salt yet. Wishing you a terrific, hand luggage only trip!

Last time we were in Singapore we had lunch at Iggys and it was FANTASTIC, hence the booking there. Salt Grill is one of Luke Mangans restaurants, and I have always wanted to try one of his, and KuDeTa is at the top of the new weird building and the menu looked interesting, as for Waku Ghin - I am not a big fan of Tetsuya - when he is on the sunshine coast ( he has a crab business here ) he eats at the same japanese restaurant as us
.
Full report to follow.

I haven't eaten at Ku De Ta, but I did eat at Sky on 57 which also at the sky park at Marina Bay Sands and it was an enjoyable view to have for breakfast.

Are you and Drron going to boogie on down at the Ku De Ta club afterwards?

Agree that Iggy's is fantastic... ah the truffle pasta, yum yum. Enjoy! The after dinner chocolates..... another highlight

I booked online - it is easy, you pick your day and time etc and they confirm by email

Iggy's

Ann ( using Rons laptop - hence the drron signature)

I see, I was planning a short spell in which I would try both Waku Ghin and Iggy's - I checked with the former but not the latter - was wondering if Iggy's was booked out to insane levels like some other restaurants in the Top 50/100 list. Good to know it's within reach, makes it more accessible for plebs like myself.

We have already been to Iggys when it was at The Regent and we were staying at the St.Regis next door-it was fairly small. They have moved to the Hilton and it does appear larger.I did do a report on our lunch and will try to find it for you-plus will do another.
And this time it's me.

So just to follow up now we are home. It was easy pease packing within the weight limit. For a hot climate I actually took too much. I took 3 skirts and I could have reduce that to 2, same with tops could have reduced that number as well, as for Ron he didnt wear the second pair of shorts I packed. This HLO could only work for us in a one climate trip. It was 32C in Singapore for the week, so just the same as home in January. We had been wanting to get a new set of luggage and the Antler Liquis was on special the week we were in Singapore so we got a set of the navy, and seeing it was the "Great Singapore Sale " the bags were full by the time we came home. I havent got a black belt in shopping for nothing ;)

Wow, I need new retinas looking at those bags! Congrats on the new purchase (and the contents!).

Black belt maintained.
