Can you still purchase a lounge invite?

risky Snr is flying with Virgin in a few weeks, and he is going to have about 3 hours in Sydney. I recall the option of purchasing lounge access - is that still available? I can't find mention on the web page Virgin Australia lounge | Virgin Australia although there is mention of $65 for additional guests. There are plenty of Qantas lounge invites floating around - do they also exist for Virgin lounges?

No they don't sell single lounge access passes anymore, they were stopped a few months ago. there aren't any paper passes as I recall as they are electronic and attached to your FF account.

Remember that you can always post the relevant details in the June forum to see if there are any AFF members that could guest them into the DJ lounge on the day (or even the QF lounge with the 3hr wait - just make sure they leave and walk through the car park and over to the DJ terminal in time to clear security etc if that option is taken)
