Can you "take" the 50SC Qantas Loyalty Bonus Reward in the next Membership Year?

Has anyone had a successful attempt at postponing the loyalty bonus to the next membership year (past its expiry date)?
My bonus expires on the last day of my membership year. I don't need it for this year, would rather have it crediting next year.
All I need is 1 extra day...
Same here - yesterday was the last day of my membership year and also when my loyalty bonus expired so I held off selecting it until 23:59 AEDT last night but it posted instantly and my status credits have already been reset today.

Sadly not
So, as a lesson - If you want a loyalty bonus to credit the 50 SC's a the subsequent "membership year" after it was earned, do not earn it earlier than the period before the end of your current "membership year" where it would expire before the end of your current "membership year"§.

§The Qantas terms indicate "within 90 days".

In practice, this is three months after the end of the month in which you earned the loyalty bonus.

I earned one in the first week of August and have until 30 November to redeem it (so nearly four months).
Thank's - I had thought that was the case, but was uncertain as I have in recent years taken the points, not "needing" the SC's.

Wished the original status credits had taken a few days more to post
