Canberra lunch - Saturday 5 April [Updated]

Let's meet at 1200 Sat and move over to The Dumpling House. I'll try to make a bkg for 1200 in the name of Anna. For recent CBR inhabitants who need to know where this bar restaurant is for future reference, let's lurk at King O'Malleys front door (as long as we don't stay there!), and walk over to TDH. Any others who intend to find their own way, the Dumpling House is just around the outside of the building near Pappa Rich, which is itself near the back of Jamie's. All this is located in the Canberra Centre Dendy movies end. Hope that is clear. Will we be wearing an AFF sticker?

My friends claimed my Sunday for high tea. Then shook up my plans and I'm flying home Sunday afternoon when they fly away.

It's ages since I've been in Civic. My landmarks are the chess pit, the sheep and the cube opposite the theatre. Can someone suggest a meeting point that is easy to find. I also know where King O'Malleys is!

Sorry guys, I just saw this thread. Will be flying out of CBR in a few hours time (0645 to be exact, will be in QF CBR JCL from 0545 onwards, 1 guest spot).

I didnt know know it's open day today so would have rather flown on a different day instead if this was the case.

We had a very enjoyable get together yesterday, MissBurrill, Hossein.au and I, talking about flights, using points, credit cards, sharing stories and catching up on news. After The Dumpling House we went to Koko Black for a hot choco each and a sample of the deliciosa chocos. Lowjhg, hope you got out today without too much of a delay - maybe a good aerial view of planes on the ground?

I enjoyed lunch and hot chocolate. We had plenty of food and it was delicious. The two hours went quickly. What impressed me was that the conversation flowed so well that everyone kept their phones away. It was lovely to dine with people who aren't constant phone checkers. I look forward to visiting Canberra again.
