When I go to the drop-down menu for 'Link invitation to Jetstar Booking' the airport doesn’t show up for the Gold Coast (OOL). All other airports show up, but OOL is missing completely. Does anyone know how I can link my QF invitation without having to call customer service? Thanks

I happen to know the answer to this question as I was talking to the attendant on the entry desk last week and asked about linking a lounge pass for my daughter for a subsequent flight she was making OOL-MEL.

The answer was that they don’t allow lounge invites to be linked on-line in advance at all for the OOL lounge because of capacity constraints. However, depending on spare capacity at the time, a request can be made on site at the time and a lounge pass deducted through your lounge invitations portal if you are allowed entry.

Thanks Mike that is helpful. I suppose with school holidays this could be an issue with capacity. You would think a clear banner or label on the site would be better than making a whole airport disappear but anyway cest la vie.

One thing I must warn you about when travelling on JQ at smaller airports like OOL, DRW or HBA is to tamper your expectations when it comes to QF lounge access. The reason being is that QF only opens those lounges approximately 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure of a QF flight. In other words, if the only flight taking off at OOL is your JQ flight, the lounge will be closed. I say this from experience having flown JQ out of OOL and was absolutely gutted to show up a couple hours early only to find the lounge was closed since the last QF flight of the day already took off!

I was refused entry to the OOL lounge today with a JQ ticket, probably not a surprise since it's one of the busiest days of the year

Should've flashed your American Express card 😂:

Hi I wondered if you know if you can keep trying to link online a few days prior or day of OR if you literally have to walk up to the lounge the day of flying and see if there’s capacity and link then and there?
Thank you
