Can't use QFF points to redeem fights JQ43 when try to book through Qantas website.

Hi all,

Just wondering why I can go on Jetstar site and see flight JQ43 but if I go on Qantas site and look for exactly same flight it does not appear in the list of flights. I thought I would be able to use the any seat reward (points +pay) option to book a direct flight to Bali from Melbourne but it appears this is not the case. Has anyone had any joy redeeming points for direct flights to Bali from Melbourne. Very annoying!

Maybe JQ like to keep this flight all to themselves because it is a good seller.

Try QF257 which is the code share on the 11th, but there are no cheap flights showing or award seats

Maybe JQ like to keep this flight all to themselves because it is a good seller.

I think you may be right Lonely Flyer. Would be nice to be able to use points on a direct flight though

Again it is there as a code share QF257, but no cheap seats or award bookings

You would have to fly via Perth for an award booking......

Hi again and thanks for advice so far. I must be going something wrong because I can't even bring up flight 257 on any Qantas web booking although if I just type in google it appears

you need to be logged into QF FF account

thats bizarre because when I log in to frequent flyer those. 2 direct flights do not appear. Not sure what's going on here?
