Car rental in the USA

Thanks Trooper. My annual travel insurance policy includes full CDW for rental vehicles, so i try not to pay it twice.

You might want to check the T & C's as the policy that includes full CDW might just cover the 'excess' amount you have to pay in the event the vehicle is damaged. There are many threads in this forum on this topic, but from memory, you are still liable for the cost of all damage caused to the vehicle and your insurance only covers your excess. I stand to be corrected if wrong, but seemed to recall this is how it went.

Thanks, I'll do that. Of course the policy document is at home. I try not to rent cars in the USA unless I have no choice, but for this trip, I may have to.
