Card arrived yet?

Has anyone received their Velocity membership card yet? I haven't seen anything yet.

However I've just logged into my FF account and my points for a recent SYD-MEL are now there.

How recent was your flight?

Most FFPs seem to take a week or 2 after first flight activity to send the card.

Please let us know if your "kit" includes anything more than just the card.

Kiwi Flyer - my DJ flight was on 23rd November, although for some reason the Velocity website shows the "activity" as being 29th November. :?

If Velocity is anything like other FFPs, no card is sent until you have flight activity. So the paper one printed off the web may be all you get unless you fly DJ and credit to Velocity.

I received my welcome pack and card today!

It is a little brochure like book and a proper plastic card, not like a credit card, but still plastic.

DJ will hate me for doing this, but it is very similar to a Fly Buys card (different design, but very similar layout)

No special offers from what I can see in the welcome pack, but information of partners etc, and at the back, paper terms and conditions.

Looks very similar to the Welcome Pack that QF send out each year!

My package arrived today too. Nicely presented.

I noticed a Europcar offer inside - a free vehicle upgrade and double points with your first rental. There is also mention of an online shop for redeeming points - hadn't noticed that before.

A good effort from Virgin Blue. Let's hope they get some more partners on board soon.

Until I received my pack, I had completely overlooked the fact that there was an online shop where you can buy stuff with points (the old points plus pay trick). Anyone spent much time looking through the shop?

Just had a quick look. There are some good items there, especially the specials. I could see prices but not an equivalent cost in points. Is it there somewhere?

And on Page 10 of the booklet they even have pictures of Tom's credit cards! Just in case Tom is lurking here, your Velocity Visa Card number is 4557 0312 3456 7890 with an expiry date of 11/07. And your Velocity Amex card is 3778 111234 56789 and it expires 12/07.

I don't suppose you could do TOm a favour and activate the card for him and then post a reply here letting him know that he can now use it? If you do, don't forget to post the security number as well

I think they must have had some production problems. My pack had Tom Andrews gear as well.

I have not received my card although I haven't flown Virgin since joining Velocity. In fact I am still a virgin on Virgin.

I have not received my card although I haven't flown Virgin since joining Velocity. In fact I am still a virgin on Virgin.

Nope. No DJ flights for me in the past 2 years. But my card is sitting in my top drawer.
