I was in the Wing a few times in the last week, as well as in the Deck. I was flying J DPS-HKG-TPE R/T so got plenty of opportunity to sample the wares, particularly as the layover in HK was around 12 hours each way.

I must admit that I didn't take a great deal of notice of the menus (I'm quite happy with Noodle Bar type offerings in HKG), but I did take some notice of the champagne offerings. Self serve in the wing were Laurent Perrier and Taittinger Brut (as well as some Rose that I didn't look at). I tried them both and thought they were quite bland (the technical term). But nontheless, an impressive selection for self-pour. But in the Deck (J only) they had Drappier Brut, which obviously is a cheaper wine, but I much preferred it. It had lots of bubbles and a nice sharp, dry taste (what one might expect from a decent champagne).. I guess that says lots about my educated palate (!)., but hopefully might be helpful for those wanting to check out the champagnes in CX lounges at HKG..

For anyone else who might have an overnight layover at HKG and doesn't want the hassle of a short nap in a hotel off site somewhere, the recommended approach, if you're OWE, is to go to the Deck first, get kicked out at 00:30 and then go to the Wing, which was open until 03:30 one night and 03:00 the other night (supposed to close at 02:30 according to the Deck staff). Both lounges reopen at 05:30. I don't believe that the closing times of the Wing (F only I must stress) are published, so you will need to take pot luck, but that was my experience.

Obviously none of this may work if you're travelling with your spouse.

How ofen do they change the menu in Pier F at Hkg? Will be there in 11 days' time on a 4 hour transit to Europe so wondering if this will be the menu or would it have changed?
Some items are perennial, like the wagyu burger
Others rotate monthly. If all goes to plan I can let you know in a few days what the menu is
