Cathay Pacific excess baggage - what are they like?

I'm flying CX from BJS to HKG in business as part of an AONE4.

I'm a bit worried about having excess baggage.

Anyone had any experiences? What are they like?

On Business the normal 30kgs plus a few extra.

You would prefer 40Kg ( non piece based F allowance ) vs 2 * 32Kg ?

Yes, because I will be buying light, bulky (non-copyright-infringing) clothing
I would rather more bags at a light weight
