Some of the street cats look like they have a pretty hard life.

There are quite a few battered looking cats and dogs, but they all seem to be looked after, in that they are fed. I'm guessing it's the Buddhist philosophy, I'll post some of the dog photos later. We go to Pakse tomorrow, so it may take a few days before I get to do that.

Siem Reap cats at a local 'drinks' shop very close to the Prince D'Angkor Hotel. They had 13 including Birmans imported from the states, mostly hiding upstairs, they also had a very good selection of wine and beer!

Only saw one cat on this trip - at the port in Penang and he was obviously on the way somewhere as he didn't stop for anything and squeezed under the fence a few moments later. He had a short tail as well.

Surprisingly we saw few cats on Rarotonga, but found these guys called Spot and Tommy at the Maina Traders general store on Aitutaki......protecting the grog section (btw - bloody expensive). Ever get the chance to go to an island....come here....paradise.
