I'm silver, I might be able to make it but that week I'll also be frantically trying to get on top of things before I head off to Europe for the first time in my life the following Monday (50+ hours in Y, it's gonna be great)

This is true, if I can find the time to make it that evening I will most definitely come along to whinge about corporate travel policy and poor upgrade availability on QF2!

I put in for an upgrade to J, but when I checked EF at the start of the week and saw F1 A0 J0 C0 D0 I0 W0 R0 T0 Y9 B0 H0 K0 M0 L0 G0 I knew it wasn't going to end well. Hopefully I might be luckier on the way home.

Hopefully EK upgrade at check in. I got an F upgrade at check in recently and didn’t even realise till I looked at the BP.
