Centrelink’s error, we pay?

Necessity and stigma will force them to work for a living like decent people do.
Or theyll decide that crime does pay, particularly if they dont want to be homeless.

The tax system needs simplification, yes, but show some compassion for other people. Not everything is black and white.

So the person dying of cancer doesn't need to assistance ?
Or the person caring for two very ill parents doesn't need assistance ?
The social security system within Australia is significantly more than people who are simply unemployed
Keeping on topic, unfortunately errors are made both on Centrelink side (robodebt is of course a big one ) and the people who receive Centrelink.
 
If you get a bank transfer to your account in error you don't have the right to spend it

An error is just that - it's not a bonus. This is taxpayer money after all.
