Chance to win a culinary trip with Amex Dining

I booked in June for a Saturday in October. Had tried a few times trying to book 3, 6 and 11 months out from special dates with no luck. Phone Amex - table booked Saturday 7:30PM.

Only problem is now that mrssimongr is pregnant and will have to skip some foods...

I was told that it's worth calling up a few days out and trying again - sometimes they have cancellations and you can get a table that might otherwise be booked out 6 months in advance.

When we went we only needed to book 3 weeks in advance - the joys of going mid-week. :)

Cheers,
- Febs.

Re: Tets... It appears that they have very high demand for 2-person tables (not surprised...).

A few weeks ago, I called to make a booking for 2 people and they said the earliest dinner available would be January (i.e. 4 mths wait!).

Days later, I called to change booking to 4 people, and they could offer me October (only a few weeks wait!).

Thanks to the OP...successfully registered today and see it as a win/win/win/win:

1. I got an entry into the promo with a chance to win
2. Getting a 13 bottle crate of wine delivered to supplement my drinking selection (was down to 1 bottle) as well as my cellar
3. Got to use my Amex for the Cellarmasters purchase and used the $50 voucher
4. Even received 200 QFF points.

Excellent multi-tasking if you ask me
