SkyTeam will end its long-running policy of not allowing Elite Plus frequent flyers to access lounges on domestic itineraries on 1 April 2025.

There will still be some lounges that are not accessible on domestic itineraries, and there are exceptions for Delta and Aerolineas Argentinas Elite Plus members, but overall a positive change.

I have SkyTeam Elite Plus status and was yesterday refused access to the Saudia domestic lounge, flying RUH-JED. But last year I was able to use the Air France lounge at CDG flying CDG-NCE in Y. Will be good to have a consistent policy that aligns more closely with Oneworld and Star Alliance.

Having the AF LAX lounge on the list makes me wonder how long this will last. If I'm understanding this correctly SkyTeam Elite Plus holders can access this lounge prior to DL operated domestic flights?

Wonder how long before they cut back on the GA lounges in DPS and CGK. They can both be a zoo at the best of times. The VN lounges in Vietnamese don’t surprise me as a few of them are shoebox size so no way could they handle the extra capacity

Unless they have done some significant work recently at RUH then you wouldn’t have missed much 🤣
If you are departing from JED pack a jumper for the SV lounge. The “Icebox” only has one setting and that is minus 10 🤣
