Velocity Frequent Flyer has posted a notice on its website that it's going to make a bunch of changes to the Velocity program T&Cs on 18 November 2024.

You can read them here:

The main ones that caught my attention were changes to "when and how we can make changes to the Terms and the Velocity program".

E.g. in section 1.4, they've more clearly distinguished between the notice period they need to give for major negative changes (at least 30 days), minor negative changes (less than 30 days) and changes outside of Velocity's control (no notice required).

Section 1.3 stating that Velocity can change the program benefits and features also includes this new point (my highlighting):

I wonder if this means Velocity plans to introduce redemptions that are only available to certain members (e.g. members with Gold/Platinum/Platinum Plus status)?

Like QF and the Plat/P1 seeing-Award-availability being longer than others? "I'd like to see that!"
