Has anyone had any experience changing a '2 for 1' ticket? Have had to change plans and have attempted to change a flight in early March to mid-April. However the rather unhelpful rep told me that I cannot do this as it is within 30 days of the flight. The only reference I could find stated "Bookings must be made a minimum of 30 days in advance of travel." Is there a policy on changes anywhere? Otherwise I am out of pocket for the full amount

Would you be better off cancelling and rebooking? I've cancelled these 2-for-1 flights, and they charged the saver cancellation fee as expected ($80), with credit to my travel bank. However, it still counts as having used the 2-for-1 sectors

Also, maybe try a different rep? Should work as long as you're 30 days out, have sectors remaining, and pay the fare difference and change fee

Thanks for advice - The rep said as the original date was within the next 30 days it could not be cancelled either... might try calling again tonight
