Changi airside transits T4 to T2 can take well over an hour!

The usually quick and easy airside gate to gate transits at Singapore’s Changi Airport are not so quick if you want to transit T4 to T1, T2 or T3.
Yes, I had a 3k to MH landside transit (could not OLCI) last month and it took ¾ hour to get to T2 after arrival. Fortunately I had 4 hours before boarding.

There is an airside transit bus that can be more frequent than landside but does not service T2.

Next month I have another transit, but twice as long which will be enough to check out the CX T4 lounge before heading out.

Airside is no better.

T4 to T2 is a combination of 24 minutes on the bus (18 + 6) to T3 plus a short walk and a train ride T3 to T2.

So that’s at least 30 minutes T4 to T2. Likely a bit more.

Add some transport wait times and it will be longer. Perhaps 15 minutes longer.

And add to that your walk times from and to your gate.
