Hi all.

I'm flying SIN to ICN with Cathay in October and I'm very excited at the possibility of utilising the new terminal. Despite some online research I can't seem to find when CX is shifting their operations of the new terminal (and their new lounge most importantly).

I'm wondering if anyone has any idea other than 'second half of 2017'?

Thanks heaps!

I'm flying CX from SIN on Sunday and will try to find out...

As it turns out, I decided to head to the airport a day early after receiving a typhoon alert from CX to see if I can get on a flight out of SIN today instead. I have a long wait ahead so I chatted to the service desk and asked them about the move to T4. It has been pushed back from July to September and now to October but no date set as yet. However I can already see signage at T1 and T2 on shuttle buses to T4...

Yes in T2 its at gate 51, it looks like you will do security before boarding the bus (given that T4 does not have comingled arrivals and departures, and therefore no gate based security).

Even I've been having issues finding the information. Give me a day and I'll have an answer for you.

Changi itself hasn't finalised when airlines can move into T4, however an open house was run earlier this month over several weeks for passengers to experience and wander around the new facilities. Expect to see it late October or early November. In the meantime check-in is still at T1 - row 1, and the CX lounge is operated by dnata on level 3.
