... But needed to go to the transit desk in SIN anyway. It seems they can look up your bag location and redirect it to the 3K flight.

I had success transitting between QF(81) and SQ(322) where it was a 5hr wait, although that was a while back. Went to the transfer desk and they organised my bags to SQ which was a separate terminal from where I landed. I took the skytrain from T1 to T3 and was very pleased 18hrs later to find my bags on the carousel in LHR.

I have been assured now by the Plat line that I WILL be able to have my bags through checked and all I need to do is collect a Boarding pass in Sin.

We are flying out on the 5th September returning on the 14th and cant wait :D

I'm doing the same trip in October - did you have any luck with the interline baggage transfer. I have 70 mins in SIN to connect to 3K to HKT.

For any bags to be checked through from QFd/QFi to JQi, all flights must be booked on the same pnr.

QF will no longer through check to JQi if you have a QF booking through the QF website & a separate JQ booking through the JQ website. The only time they will through check to different airlines on separate pnrs is for other members of the One World Alliance of which JQ are not a member.
