Changing a ASA and SC's/points.

Definitely only a problem on changes, all the ones I left unchanged credited perfectly.

Regarding changes, it's the same when you book in full J class, there must be another seat in J to change to (there always is as they oversell like nobodys business), no such luck in U class however :(

My U ASAs posted the points without any problems. So it probably only picks up the classic award bucket when you make a change. I guess.

Sorry to spoil the theory but the SCs and points (incl doubles) posted OK for my changes.

Maybe it is how the changes are made. Mine were done through the premium desk.

Thanks for spoiling the theory. It was hurting my brain to even think about it.

Maybe it is a conflict between the underlying U conditions based on a classic award which, I assume, have limited change options related to availability of classic awards (and of course are non earning); versus the basis of the ASA technically (in theory based on the marketing) being the same a purchased seat and hence able to be changed based on the underlying fare conditions.

Ok my head hurts now

Well I am 4 out of 5 for failing to post, with the 4 being changed flights.

Still no double SC's, at least I got them to post it correctly so I have a shot at getting the extra SC's without too much work.
