cheap flights from Edmonton Canada to Sydney Australia

Hello,
Im trying to find some cheap flights for my daughter to travel home to Sydney Australia from Edmonton Canada on July 25 for a visit returning 9 August, 2016.
Can anyone help with suggestions. I have been receiving Skyscanner alerts and looking at individual airlines.

I'd look at Westjet or Air Canada Rouge (AC's LCC) Edmonton-Vancouver-Honolulu connecting to a Jetstar flight HNL-SYD. I haven't looked at timings and connections, though. Would need plenty of time in HNL to connect.

Departing from Calgary rather than Edmonton may give her more and cheaper options.

Summer vacation time in nth America (or close to it) ... don't delay in booking.

I think it would be worthwhile to look at flight loads using EF or KVS. Cathay seems to be sold out in economy from YVR - HKG - PER on the 25th. Only PEY is offered.
